As to your second, the fact that you constantly deflect real abuse like that which I have just mentioned to talk about cartoons sounds like an anti-Japanese rant to me. The simple fact is that Japan is no more dangerous than most other developed countries and a lot safer than most places on this planet. You might not like their culture but girls there could be born into far worse socieities. It is not exactly a bundle of laughs being a girl in Saudi Arabia or Iran or in some of the African countries where a virgin is considered a cure for aids (the desperate will clutch at any straw).

One crime does not negate another crime. What happens in Afghanistan, which is a 3rd world country, is irrelevant to laws in Japan that are socially accepted.

I'm not deflecting anything, on the contrary its you who's deflecting.
