Japan Anime TV Fall 2009 Previews

My hopes are that FUNimation picks up and streams the Darker Than Black sequel, Viz streams InuYasha Final Act, and one of them picks up and streams, or Crunchyroll streams, Letter Bee. Then again, considering the selection this past season, Crunchyroll is probably more likely to simulcast the Queen's Blade sequel. *bangs head against wall* Well the only one I know they'll simulcast right now is Natsu no Arashi 2, which I'll watch. I'm surprised there's no Gonzo this season, since as far as I know, both their current series will end by this point. That can't be good. And again no Gainax. I guess they'll wait until they can no longer milk the epicness or Gurren Lagann with equally epic movies and the like.

I've heard good things about Fairy Tail and how it's very similar to One Piece, so I'll most definitely give it a try. Also give Darker than Black 2 and Inuyasha Final a look.

Fairy Tail hanRAB down. I've been following the manga religiously and have bought almost all of Del Rey's releases up to this point. I'm absolutely stoked to see how the animated version will turn out.

I'll also consider checking out Armed Librarians and I'll also watch Natsu no Arashi 2 which I consider the series to be a sleeper hit.

Only 2-3 animes I may check out: Letter Bee (been enjoying the manga during the US Jump serialization), The Sacred Blacksmith (It's Manglobe, my favorite studio!), and InuYasha Final Act (I'll see a couple of episodes on Hulu when Viz eventually streams it). I may check out Fairy Tail, but that depenRAB if I like Vol. 1 of the manga.

Meanwhile, I most likely will avoid Queen's Blade 2 and White Album 2 for the time being, since I haven't gotten past the first episode for both of their first seasons.

Hmm, there doesn't seem to be as many shows coming out as in previous years. I guess anime studios are scaling down their releases.
