Japan Anime TV Fall 2009 Previews

Apparently, they've been posted. I went digging ten pages deep to see if it has been posted and apparently it hasn't, so . . .

Anime ahoy.

Darker Than Black: Comet of Gemini, Inuyasha Final Act, Fairy Tail, Letter Bee, and possibly The Sacred Blacksmith and Kabato for me (Kabato looks like a good, anti-perv version of that Juuden-chan travesty). Perhaps Shin Koihime too on mere concept, but the character designs and costumes are making me nervous.

Also, big boo on Queen's Blade sequel. Kampfer also disturbs me.

Definitely going to watch Darker than Black 2, Fairy Tail, To Aru Railgun, and Inuyasha for me. Maybe I'll check out Letter bee as well.

I thought a Nora anime was announced for this year.

JAPAN I AM DISAPPOINT!

-Fairy Tail is fairly high on my "must watch" list. Just please, please do the exact opposite of what you did with Rave Master.

-Kampfer frightens me....

-I really couldn't care less about Inuyasha honestly.

-THERE'S A JUNGLE EMPEROR LEO REMAKE?! HOLY ****!
EDIT: Booo...it's just a special

-I'm interested in Letter Bee, Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu 2, 11Eyes, Winter Sonata and Kimi no Todoke because I heard that it's very sweet. (I'm a sucker for romantic anime

-I bet Viz will stream Inuyasha. As usual, I hope that CR gets some of these. Preferably something good this time that isn't loli/yuri/harem. (Well, actually Aoi Hana and Kanamemo are pretty good. I really just don't want anything like Juuden-chan again)

Inuyasha final act, Jungle emperor Leo & Season 2 of Stitch for me, (still hoping disney will dub season 1 overhere soon)

& why is the a second seasons of queens blade, why must japanese animators disgrace the sword so!

Whoa, I got very worked up over the Jungle Emperor Leo listing, which is what Tezuka's Kiraba The White Lion is called over there. Then I found out it's apparently a TV special and not a series, and therefore probably won't get licensed. Oh well, it's something.

I won't say much until I've seen trailers and probably some blog commentary, but I have hopes for the adaptations of Fairy Tail and CLAMP's Kobato. Both should be good, light fun.

If the new Inu-Yasha is streamed by Viz, I'll follow it. I can watch it and FMA Brotherhood back to back, and it'll be like a miniature version of Adult Swim on my computer every week. Good times.

Well, maybe just one bit of early commentary...Winter Sonata sounRAB rather non-standard and potentially great.

Winter Sonata is like a shoujo legend. It was an insanely popular Korean drama.

EDIT: And again, not a single Gainax or Gonzo....

Well, the character designs definitely are sticking closer to the manga than Rave Master's did. Plus Fairy Tail has the advantage of having at least two years before they catch up . . . but by that point Fairy Tail's manga will still be ahead long enough for there to be another year before Satelight will be faced with filler or a early ending. So we got three years of canon-only material at least.

So Fairy Tail could potentially be another Yuyu Hakusho.

Kabato's CLAMP? Yeah, this definitely won't be pervy. I'll definitely check it out then, because the concept looks good.

I'm kinda annoyed that nearly every series is a sequel or a adaptation. I need an original series and soon.

Kinda too bad there's no Gainax or Gonzo. Gainax is infamous for taking forever to release a new series and Gonzo's in big trouble as we all know. This was the time when Gonzo's adaptation of ALIVE: The Final Evolution was supposed to be released in collaboration with another studio but clearly that's not going to happen now.

Im interested in Inuyasha Final Act, Letter Bee, Fairy Tail, and since i enjoyed To Aru Majutsu no Index the new To Aru Kagaku no Railgun should be great too.

I may or may not check out Nogizaka Haruka no Himitsu: Purezza, Asura Crying 2 and that show with the Battle Librarians (the hell?).

i don't get what you mean by that, the tone in Yuyu is completely different.

We'll see what happens. Satelight's never done a long-runner before, but considering how spectacular their programming has generally been this could be awesome stuff.

I hope Taku Iwasaki does the score for the show. His style fits Fairy Tail very, very well, and considering the high quality of his Kekkaishi and Soul Eater scores he definitely can score shonen, not just hot-blooded awesomeness.

Letter Bee is a wonderful manga but I'm a bit concerned because it's published in a monthly magazine. Those traditionally often make disappointing adaptations because the producers inevitably have to diverge or go for a non-ending.

What I mean is because the Fairy Tail manga is so far ahead of the anime that when it begins, we will have several years before the anime catches up to the manga. So we could be in for a very YYH-esque experience in that everything is canon, at least for the first couple of years.

More like filler in the singular sense because the only thing that was changed was that little girl who helped Yusuke with his spirit egg. In the manga, she was just a girl he helped while she was a ghost.

Come to think of it, the manga had more filler than the anime at the beginning...

Trapeze , Winter Sonata, White Album 2, Stitch! 2 all seem like something i would be catching without a doubt

11eyes, inuyasha, fairy tail might be 3 others ill consider watching later on as well

- I'm pretty interested in Fairy Tail and Kobato.

- Nyan Koi seems interesting and no, it's not because I like cats!

- I wonder if any of the storylines in Natsu no Arashi 2 would cause controvery, since WW2 and Japan, uh .

- Shin Koihime Musou jumps out.

- Jungle Emperor Leo...Kiraba had a Next Generation sequel?

- I might look into Battle Spirits.

interested in inuyasha as soon as I finish watching the episodes on adultswim hopefully viz does a naruto with this. Was hopeing though viz would get letter Bee and simulcast it.

Biribiri for the win. I enjoyed Asura Cryin' and Natsu no Arashi, so I'm looking forward to their continuations. The other stuff...I'm not sure. I'll give them a chance, but aside from Jungle Emperor Leo, nothing really jumps out at me.

I DO have to laugh at all the complaining about Queen's Blade, though. As bad as it is, no one's forcing anyone to watch the silly thing.

Darker Than Black 2 for sure. I'll likely check out Fairy Tale as well. I may or may not check out Inuyasha considering I never finished the last batch of episodes that aired on AS.

Letter Bee, Kobato, and Winter Sonata look interesting as well. We shall see.

Hm... Fairy Tale looks interesting, and Romance of the Three Kingdoms may be an interesting watch (hooray there's a version of this I can engage in other than Dynasty Warriors for once).

Inu Yasha Final Act? I will only watch the last few episodes of that. I don't care for anything else, I just want to see the end.
