SAy you wanted to pick a phone that you can pit against nexus s , as the phone to get in januray what would it be ?

for me, I am 99 % sure i am getting the Nexus S unless the windows update is really awesome and i end up keeping the focus .

A phone to pit against the Nexus S? Good gracious it can only be the LG Star aka Optimus 2X. That's the dual core Tegra 2 smartphone with either Android 2.2 Froyo or 2.3 Gingerbread, the latter preferable. Then there is also the Motorola Olympus or Motorola Etna, which are also dual core Tegra 2.

The Nexus S does look really nice though.
