The James Whale show on Talksport was him at his best, he used to be great with the banter with him and Ash the producer who was someone who should of been a star himself and very funny guy. I loved it when they'd get on strange guests and talk about conspiracy theories and UFOs, stuff no one else talked about. I also used to love Tommy Boyd's show with him and Ash on talksport, but I believe Tommy and James didn't get on very well.

I would of loved to of seen this TV program as James is a one off and really tells it how it is, he would be a great Prime Minister.

He used to have a crap comedian on called Duncan Thickett - one of Steve Coogan's earlier incarnations.

This show helped launched the career of Steve Coogan i believe.. when he used to do impressions.

Yeah, remember Charlie "Donkey" Chuck and the Grandad guy who had a keyboard and sang "Meat Pie Mushy Peas" etc..

Haha yes, used to watch it every week. Was one of those 'so crap it's good' car crash tv series. I'll never forget Red Hot Chilli Peppers singing Prince's When Doves Cry and changing the lyric to When Doves Shit or somesuch nonsense. Quality Whale was an early version of Jeremy Kyle, he didn't put up with any shit and used to put the phone down on viewers who rang his show talking rubbish which was always good tv. Ah halcyon days...
