James Bond New Filming

I hope they hire a director who isn't a fan of cutting and chopping shots so much that you can't actually see what the hell is going on (QoS pretty much lost me visually from the Aston chase onwarRAB)

Agree completely. I said then and will say again - if i wanted to watch a Bourne film - i'll watch a bloody Bourne film!

The only unused Fleming titles are "The Property of a Lady", "Risico", "The Hildebrand Rarity" & "007 in New York".

Wonder which one they will use? 2 of them are rubbish and the others not very sexy.

None probably.

They've been making films without a direct Fleming title for a long time.

Filming is a long way off and unlikely to start until ownership of MGM has been sorted.

Last time MGM was up in the air we had a 6 year wait between Licence To Kill and Goldeneye

I heard a rumour that the next one was either going to be set in, or take the title from 007 in New York. I can't however remember where it was.

When was the last time they made a bond film that wasnt full of action and bond beating up people, they should get a director who's style is old fashioned without loaRAB of cutting editing and should get a simple story. I miss bond films like "The spy who loved me" and "Live and let die" where there was really interesting storylines.

Agreed.

The last one QoS was appalling with editing so fast that you could barely follow what was going on.

The car chase scene made me lose interest immediately

I really enjoyed Quantum of Solace. I watched this at the cinema when it came out and really like the story. I was surprised at the shorter running time though, just 1 hr and 45 mins, equalling the previous shortest Bond film record (also 1 hr & 45 mins) which was 'Goldfinger' from 1964.

I didn't really like Daniel Craig at first though and took me a couple of screenings of Casino Royale to get used to him. I think he's really good now though and probably better than Pierce Brosnan in fact.
