Jailbroken ipod excuse for apple?

Well my ipod touch was jailbroken but now it wont turn on and ive tried a lot of things. Im going to ask apple to replace it. They won't know its jailbroken but I dont know what excuse to give them for why its broken because i cant say its jailbroken. any ideas??? thanks in advance! :)
 
Actually if you've done your research (obviously you haven't), they WILL INFACT know it is jailbroken because they have software that can figure it out, simply by plugging it in. I would not send it to them because then your warranty will be void and they'll charge you for any repair made. You might have to buy a new iPod all together. Good job!...
 
just tell them i wont turn on they will think it there fault don't worry about it
 
When you jailbreak, it voids your warranty. have you tried restoring it to factory settings? The same thing happend to my iPod. if you can restore it, I don't think they would know it has been jailbroken. hope this helps
 
this happened to my ipod. fortunately i just reset it by holding both the lock button (top) and the home button.but, if it isnt turning on, then plug it into your computer,a dn if it registers, restore it to the factory setting, this will put the old software back into it, and it shoudl fix the problem.
