jailbreaking iphone!?

you cant jailbreak an iphone anymore..once you update it with the new itunes firmware, you cant break it. unless they finally found a hack that breaks it..3 months ago i spent 12 hours and made many phone calls with experienced jailbreakers, and found out no one hacked the firmware yet.

once you try and stuff, your phone will be bricked..but i mean youll still be able to use it with the phones actual carrier.
 
1) Is it true that when you jailbreak an iphone, you are no longer binded to the official carrier?
2) Will my iphone brick if i do it? is it possible to remove the brick and unbrick the iphone?
3) Will i be able to synchronise music in the itunes even after jailbreaking?
4) Will i be able to get signal/carrier on the iphone?
5) Which is the best software to use to jailbreak my iphone 3G?
6) Will i be able to restore my phone back to normal after
jailbreaking? if yes, how?
7) Lastly, is jailbreaking legal in all countries? esp singapore?
