hi I have an iPod touch and I'm close to jailbreaking it. here is the info:

•4.1 firmware
•MC Model
•I use a mac 10.4.11 and iTunes 10.1
now I have two jailbreak options, use redsn0w or limera1n. I wana ask y'all what program is best to jailbreak my iPod and what is the difference between an untethered and a tethered jailbreak? thanks in advance. oh and If I do jailbreak my iPod, how will I get my contacts, music, and pictures back in it? (since jailbreak erases that info)
