The newly released iOS 4.1 is jailbreakable using Redsn0w 0.9.5b5. All you need is the latest iOS 4.1 firmware for iPhone 3G or iPod touch 2G (non-MC Models) and you can jailbreak it using Redsn0w on Windows and Mac. Again, this is strictly for iPhone 3G and iPod touch 2G (non-MC models) only. If your iPhone 3G relies on an unlock, you MUST STAY AWAY from iOS 4.1 for now.

WHO CARES

Old Boot Iphone can and always will be able to be jailbroken.... Regardless of the OS.. As it all done preboot
 
i am hoping the 4.1 iOS will solve the crap situation on 3G. i have updated my iphone 3g to 4.1 and jailbreaked it with redsn0w. i will use it for sometime and will post if it good or not.
