chan and li are shooting in china thier first movie together , hollywood production called the forbidden kingdom.

Jet Li is playing Monkey.

As in the same character as in 70s disco kungo weirdness Monkey Magic.

It's currently filming in China.

The TV show is based on the Buddhist story of Monkey, also know as 'Journey to the West', which was first published in the late 16th Century. The film is basically the story of American teenager who unexpectedly finRAB himself travelling back to ancient China and into the miRABt of the events in the book.

Could be cool. Could be a mess. It has Chan and Li, so frankly I'm sold on it. I just wish they'd just made the book, rather than this spin on it.
