Jack♥Liz Appreciation Thread #3- 4 seasons down, 11 to go, and we're patiently waiting! ♥

I thought it was funny that Tracy, arguable the most perverted character, can't handle Jack/Liz. I always thought the writers were trying to say something there.
 
I used to watch UB too, but stopped for the same reasons. I did watch the series finale for that very reason, and I agree, I could see 30 Rock ending in a similar manner. Cept with some more smark ass comments. ;)
 
:lol: I'll have to go check out those pics of Tracy! But it sucks that we have to wait for the next new episode.

I'll have to watch some of the bonus DVD features instead, as there's still a bunch that I haven't seen yet...

Ditto. Sometimes you have to take what you can get. Until I watched that last scene and read some of the reviews of the finale, I never thought to compare them.
 
They like to play with us. I'm not surprised. Both have been around the biz long enough to know that audience members are fickle, and that if they actually got together, people might stop watching.
 
:lol: I also think it was in character. I liked the part where the music went over, and I remember thinking that it was strange for 30 Rock to do that, but then they made a gag out of it. :lol:

I'm not sure how I see the preggers thing happening next season though. :shrug: I feel like it might turn out to be a false pregnancy or something...
 
Cool! I'm actually up to date with season 4 now :)

And I agree with you guys, season 4 has been awesome for Jack and Liz in terms of cute moments. :nod: Lynn, Problem Solvers was totally epic! Finishing each other's sentences etc..

I loved when they went to Stone Mountain together... When Jack used the brush to stroke Liz's back when she was sick :lmao: And it was sweet when he defended her against the ventriloquist/comedian.
 
I know it's crazy, and who knows if 30 Rock would pull the same trick twice...but might it be possible that Avery isn't pregnant like Liz in Cooter. Or maybe that's my wishful thinking.

To answer my own question, I'm thinking it might divide Jack and Liz a bit, since Liz wants a baby so badly. Or did.
 
From what you guys have described I can definitely see similarities between the two 'couples'.

I have to say that my own preference for the Jack/Liz ending is that Jack finally realizes his true feelings for Liz and her for him. I'm a hopeless romantic, and I just think that they actually would make each other happy. Maybe in a world when TGS is finished and Jack has quit work... dang, my ending is sounding less and less convincing :lol:
 
I'm not sure about Alec's contract, but that sounds about right. I don't think the show could survive without the main 5. And that's particularly the case with Alec.
 
I thought that Liz's reaction was in character, she couldn't react the way she wanted to because Avery was there. Didn't Liz say something like "Totally not shocked at that news" very sarcastically. And then her attention was taken because she saw Carol, btw I loved how she jumped over the table to get to him :lol: Anyway, I'm sure Jack is going to get an earful of what Liz REALLY thinks about the Avery situation next season! ;)
 
I think Alec's contract is until the end of s6, so hopefully if the show gets renewed until then we should get another 2 seasons. And who knows, maybe more :)
 
Kate, you forgot the unresolved Floyd issue. :lol: Argh, too many love interests, even if I like them all.
