J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

You will still be able to hear the rear speakers. Adding the J&M 250W amp will make it sound even better. he 7.25" rear speakers is either a rumor or they are not our yet. We run the 7.25"'s, the amp and J&M 5.25" rear speakers with hogtunes tweeter pods for maximum sound quality. This is an upgrade that you will not be sorry you have done. As stated above, the stock grills will not work with these speakers.

I went to your site and did not see the amp!

Also, I was under the impression that the Harmon Kardon radio that came with this Screamin' Eagle Ultra FHLTCUSE5-BLK was a little beefier than even the other '10 Screamin' Eagle Ultra's. I saw one article that said 160 watts, whereas the Harley website that talks about the other SE Ultra's says 40 watts. Anyone know for sure if the Ultra in Crimson Mist Black/Dark Slate has a radio that pumps out more power? And...if it is 160 watts, woudl the amp really be neccesary?
 
Installed the 7.25's I received from the Dr. V in my '04 Road Glide after getting the Harley adapters I needed. All I can say is once I got the fairing back on what a distinct difference over the stock speakers.

The clarity of the sound is great and distortion free.

Very pleased with my decision to go with them. I see no need at this time for an amp...but you never know!
