Thanks to all for the compliments on the J&M 7.25's ,,,,,

the J&M Audio display trailer is set up this week in Laconia NH, downtown city hall, next to the Harley demo rides ,,,,

J&M speaker and amplifier installation is available right at the trailer all week ,,,,,

J&M is awesome and so is their customer service. Had my new speakers and amp installed by them at Americade. You will not be dissapointed.
 
SHEK Good luck with yours, i had mine working for 2 months with no problems and now it looks like my speakers are shot, i am soooooo pissed everything was working great and mind you i ride with the volume at only half way, i did the code thing and it reads B2017 FL SPEAKER open, so now i am baffled, hopefully yours turns out better than mine, i may look at others speakers if this is the case with these J&M'S 7.5", the system sounded pretty nice till this happened, don't know what other speakers are out there though. But i can assure you that if they are blown i am done and will look at something else.
 
Hopefully you have contacted J&M prior to this rant for some possible help in determining if the speakers have actually malfunctioned, or maybe just some small wiring issue or an easy fix like that? Or did you just jump on here with "guns a blazing" before doing any of that?

From all accounts in this thread their customer service is stellar, and I can't imagine them not helping you out and working to resolve this issue. Maybe give them a shot first, before slamming them??
 
I have contacted PHATPERFORMANCE who then contacted JM, so i am not here here just guns a blazing, and i said nothing about their customer service, i said the product, and they were helpful in telling me what to look for which i did, and again nothing so it appears that the JM speakers are shot, or that the JM Amp is a gonner, from looking at the radio code which says B2017 it appears to be the speakers, hope this helps. And yes they are very helpful, nothing against the customer service just the speakers, maybe its just my luck, and i will be super honest i always thought the speakers were ok, they got much better when i added the AMP about a week after the speakers, this SYSTEM i have is only 2 months old, so needless to say i am bummed out.

If the speakers are indeed blown under normal use, especially with a J&M amp, then you appear to be covered, less shipping.

Could just be your "bad luck".

You're better off contacting J&M yourself.

who installed the J&M speakers for you ? ,,, who installed the J&M amp ? ,,,,,,,

were there any adjustments made to the gain or bass boost settings, from the way you received the amp from J&M ? ,,,,,

did you turn your Harley radio AVC (auto volume control) off or leave it on since installing the J&M speakers/amp ? ,,,,

do not worry, we will stand behind the J&M products and I will try and help you find out what caused this, what has gone bad, get you back going again, and make sure this does not re-occur ,,,,

Now, that is what I call GREAT customer service. I am glad that I have had your 7.25's and Amp installed by the Dr.....love the product for sure.
It is a pleasure knowing that there are scrupulous dealers like you out there...breath of fresh air for sure.
