J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

Yesterday I had the J&M Speakers (front and rear), the J&M Amp and the HD XM Radio module installed in my 2009 UC. All I can say is "WOW".

I spent almost the entire day with Shawn and Al watching my bike get worked on, and it was a joy. I can honestly say that those guys (Al especially, sorry Shawn), treated my bike as if it were their own; I don't think I would have been as meticulous and careful tearing things down and putting them back on if I did it myself. The care Al took in taking things apart and putting them back in were phenomenal. When he got through, the wiring inside my fairing looked better than when he opened it up. All bundles were zip tied and carefully tucked back in very neatly. THANK YOU!!

It took me 3 hours to get home (69 miles to South Orange County) but those 3 hours were a pleasure rolling down the 405 South in stop-and-go traffic. The music clarity and distortion free sounds were fantastic compared to those POS HD stock speakers.

If any of you are thinking of having your units in the LA/OC area installed, this is the place to go. If you do not or cannot have them install the J&Ms, their prices are just what you've seen here, no hidden anything. You will not be disappointed and they do stand by their work and product price. Truly a pleasure dealing with such customer friendly oriented persons. Great produt, great people. I am not easily impressed but these guys did it.

faapilot, it is unfortunate I was not there to meet you as well. I was too busy installing mynew bars at home. Either way, thanks so much for your business and we try to treat everyone as family and their bikes as our own, not just one of the masses. Enjoy the new sound system and I am sure the ride was home was a pleasure regardless of how much traffic there was. Friday afternoon traffic can be a killer, but great tunes with the J&M setup can really ease the tension.

If I understand this setup right you add the 4 speakers to the Ultra and the 2 channel amp... what does this do for the rear speakers? or are you just drowning them out? I ask because my passenger complains that she cannot hear the rear speakers now (stock) and I was getting ready to install my new xm kit and figured I would add speakers but then I got down this rabbit hole of why not do it all at once and I want to make sure I solve the original issue in that I want the rear speakers to be heard also.

Trust me, on the Ultra, you can hear the front AND rear speakers with the J&M amp installed. You get a nice surround sound experience. Once you have everything installed, you will see exactly what I am talking about. Your passenger will love riding with you because the sound will really make the entire experience even better!

I don't see your J&M 7.25 inch 3-way speakers (for the Road Glide) for sale on your online catalog. I only see the ones for the Batwing fairing. Do you still offer the Road Glide speakers? I live in California. How long would it take for me to receive the speakers if I ordered them today?

As Dr. V-Twin already mentioned, your passenger will definately hear the speakers and will comment on the difference. The stock HD speakers are truly a POS and I was amazed how crappy they are upon inspection after removal; you pay over $20K for a bike and the MOCO has the audacity to install such inferior products.

You will not be disappointed in the new sound and clarity with the new speakers. You will hear all that you have been missing.
