I'm waiting on the Fedex man to deliver my amp/speakers/antenna combo. "On Fedex vehicle for delivery"....COME TO ME NOW! haha...maybe having the day off was a bad idea...

Heard a bike today with your amp/ 7 1/4" speaker combo. It sounded decent, but no where near amazing.

I was really hoping to be surprised, but..........the hype didn't come close to the finished product.

The guy that had it was satisfied, but not too crazy about it. He said it's good enough for him.

That's a first! He may have had the AVC on and not set to "OFF" where it should be. That does limit the volume when it is on. We make sure to tell everyone to turn the AVC off. Another thing we also want to remind guys to make sure the bass is not set all the way high. That will affect the speaker sound output greatly. It is wise to make sure the treble and bass are set at reasonable levels. If he wants, he can call us and I can run him through everything and all the settings to ensure that everything is set to where it should be. If he has an Ultra, he must make sure that the intercom and CB are turned off as that will also significantly impact the volume of the speakers.

You will never get 100% satisfaction with any product. It just isn't possible. There is a VERY high satisfaction rate with them though.

We have sold HUNDREDS of the 7.25" speakers to date and so far MOST 7.25" speaker owners have raved about them. We get calls almost everyday with feedback from those very owners thanking us for recommending the speakers. We only have about 50 amps out there so far and we have had very favorable feedback with them. I wouldn't be running the 7.25" speakers with the amp if they were junk. We wouldn't recommend products we wouldn't use on our own bikes.

Everyone we demo the speakers and amp setup for so far has been blown away because compared to stock they are a great!

The general consensus is that the 7.25" speakers are a very good choice and when the amp is added, the speakers truly shine in my opinion.

Road Glide amps are due in tomorrow by the way for those of you anxiously waiting for them!

Do you have any pics of the RG install? I'm already running the ARC amp and 6.5's, but I am curious as to how J&M did it. Is it similar to the batwing setup? Thanks,

Count me as one of the ones that was originally skeptical.

After installing and getting some miles under my belt, I am more than happy with my purchase and would do it all over again. I don't know how you could expect them to sound much better. IMO, they really shine when you're riding. Sure, they get loud when you're parked, but I got the biggest smile when riding down the highway with my tunes bright and clear. I can turn the volume up ALL the way with no distortion. (It's also beautiful to be able to hear the stereo separation. With the stock speakers I might as well have been listening to AM radio...) After riding a few back roads with the volume at 50%, I was confident that I was contributing to early hearing loss. I also installed the flex-power antenna, and with that I feel I may have lost a bit of reception, but it might just be that I can HEAR all the crackling come through because the stereo gets so loud now.

Another note, the install was a snap. I think the most difficult part was messing with the bolts that hold the amp bracket in place...those are a pain to get to! The rest was really easy.

Last thing - big thanks to Dr. VTwin. Just got to get you guys on the east coast now to make things REALLY perfect!

Hey Shawn, Dave here from Ontario Canada.

I just wanted to let you know that the last box (speakers) came in the next day! They made it just over a week into Canada through customs & delivered to my door. That last box came in on my birthday & I was like a kid in a candy store.

So I set about doing the install & was a little apprehensive.... I shouldn't have been.

I ordered the complete set - J&M Speakers, AMP & internal antenna. All told I bet it only took 45 minutes or so to install. It was so easy I took the time to do the remote garage door opener into the high beam switch at the same time.

I'm not sure what colour the sky is in the worlds of the fella's that don't notice a remarkable difference but up here in the not so frozen north I was blown away. I set up my Ipod, my Sirius satellite radio & they all sound great. CD's are fabulous & the radio is exactly what I expect it to be.

I've only got 580 km's (400 miles) on this new ride but I was seriously disappointed with the factory speakers. At 60 miles an hour I could barely hear anything - with the new set-up it's perfect at 80-90 miles & more.

Thanks so much Shawn I loved the service the folks at Dr. V-TWIN gave me. the savings of ordering from you folks instead of vendors in Canada was close to half. Just the speakers alone were $135 less (the vendor in Canada had a hard time splainin' why he was charging that much more & the exchange rate & delivery just didn't cut it.... last time I checked our Canadian dollar was either at par or just above your greenbank).

Anyway if anyone is on the fence - jump off & get in touch with Shawn - if you aren't looking to do a crazy complete dvd car stereo install pick up the J&M equipment.
