Hi guys I ordered a set of J&M 7.25's and before they show up I wanted to get my faring ready for them and I found out I had Hogtunes 902.2aa 50 watt speakers in my used scoot already I thought they were stock. DAM well looks like I'll be selling one set used. Has anyone gone from plain Hogtunes to J&M 7.25's and is there a difference?

Trust me when I say that you WILL notice a difference going from Hogtunes to the 7.25" J&M. It isn't a small difference either.

I am confident that you will really enjoy the J&Ms.

I just came in from the garage after installing the J&Ms. Took out my Hogtunes and YES there is a difference. Like extreme above, I haven't reinstalled my outer fairing yet (some refinishing needed) but the base was MUCH better. Sitting on the bike w/o the motor running and listening to ZZ Top the grips were vibrating from the Bass! Using the Hogtunes Amp and Tweeterpod as well.

Anyone know of any chrome rings to dress up the J&M 7.25's a little bit? I got the all black speakers. The only HD rings I saw had the bar&sheild piece that crosses over the middle of the speaker. Not sure how this would work with the tweeters on the J&M's.

Kicking around the idea of a painted inner fairing and think some chrome around the speakers would dress it up nicely.

I can either post or email you pics of my '09 Street Glide with the Harley painted inner fairing so you can see what it would look like since I also have the pewter pearl.

It looks awesome! I also did the Wild 1 12.5" ape hangers with full chrome controls and Full Magnum Sterling Chromite II including ABS cables. It turned out really good!

I recently was in your shop and heard the J&M's 7.25 in the Street Glide and they sounded great, one question, is the bike using an Amp or just the HK radio?
