J&M 7.25 Speaker Review

im in limbo btwn these and the 6 1/2 inch hertz speakers. im fed up with the Polk speakers from Hells Foundary. Ive gone through 3 sets of those speakers with 3 biketronics amps. the amp is fine but that 5 1/4 speaker i dont think can handle that amp.

My AVC is at 2, my bass is plus 2 my volume is never past the "L" in the word volume and my high is at plus 3

There is no explanation; my left speaker went out on me as i rode to Yuma this past friday= listening to 80s metal (motley crue, iron maiden, bon jovi)

i have done that currently. Its just getting frustrated with having to take the front fairing off about 1 time every 6 weeks because of the speaker issue. My AVC is set at 2. granted last week ridin to Yuma the wind was howling and i was cruisin at 80 mph.

well ,, turn your AVC to 0 ,,,,,, and put in the J&M 7.25" speakers ,,,,

from my experience, you won't be replacing them again anytime soon ,,,,,,

For those interested ... I've found a pretty good deal on these speakers. Check with Brian at Vail Motors in Tucson, AZ, for a whopping good deal ... $199.99 + shipping.

I met Brian last year when I traded an ATV for a bike for one of my sons. He was honest and easy to work with. While at his shop in Tucson I asked him about his parts supply side. He said he could make a great deal on J&M speakers and audio equipment. So, a few days ago, I took him up on the offer and inquired about the 7.25" setup.

So far I've not seen a better price. I asked him to give me a price on the rear speakers (will get that after Christmas break), and I'll post it when I get it.
