Shawn ,,,,,

I do not want anyone to misunderstand the J&M warranty on our speakers ,,,,,

first of all it is a flat two years from purchase date, unless they have been physically damaged during shipping, installation or accident ,,,,, or incorrectly connected to a DC output device which could melt the voice coil ,,,

after that they are warranted to the original purchaser for as long as they own them, but that part of the warranty is not transferable ,,,,

I hope this clears up an mis-representations ,,,,,

Thanks for the clarification John. As long as they are warrantied to the original purchaser is all I am concerned with. I have had a few pairs of Hogtunes over the years and am use to Pez's outstanding customer service and no hassle return policy, which I have had to use twice over the years.

JMJOHN,

I apologize for relaying the incorrect facts on the J&M warranty. I am glad you listed the exact warranty details.

1HD2NV,

For the record, we haven't had any of the new J&M 7.25" speakers go bad as of yet and we have sold a lot of them so far. We sell all the other brands of motorcycle audio and so far J&M has had a perfect track record. We can't say the same for the other brands we carry.

Thanks!

Shawn

So.......what was final answer on running thes with Biketronics amp? will run for a while, but will eventually damage the speakers?

Well I have to tell you I went down to see Shawn at DRVTWIN and purchased my New J&M speakers front and rear package $350 pluss two shirts one for me and the wife!!!! He was out of the rears but said they would be at my door on Thursday and there they were. Thanks Shawn it was nice meeting you and seeing your shop I will always stop by when I am down that way.

I installed them today they went together like a snap had them installed in less than an hour. They do sound really good a huge improvement over my stock speakers. Took it down the freeway at 80 with a 4" windshield and can hear everything perfect. I now have more speaker than power from the stock HK unit. Glad to hear that J&M is coming out with an amp soon because I could now use it, although without an amp it is quite loud you just run out of power you can listen to them with the volume cranked!!! The speakers are very clear and you can distictly hear bass, mids, tweets & vocals.

John if your listening hope you building the amp in a small configuration to somwhere in the fairing also. Thank you NICE product.

Donny,

It was really our pleasure to meet you and your wife. We are very glad that you are enjoying the J&M speakers. J&M's new amp will be sure to provide enough power to really push their speakers to the limit. Stop by anytime!

We really got a kick out of your EXT! Love the Rinehart slip-ons!

Shawn

I am on my 3rd biketronics amp and 3rd set of MOMO speakers from Hells Foundry. All have been replaced under warranty but Im truly getting sick of having to replace stuff every 6 months. Original purchase/installation was roughly July 2008.

1) set replaced roughly 8 months after installation- speaker was registering 2 ohms; wasnt working proper and decided to replace both amp and speaker to eliminate any problem. that was roughly May 2009.

2) 2nd amp just replaced in Oct 2009 and was told i received the "improved" amp

3) just replaced the speakers last week. Hells Foundry swore that the speakers shouldnt blow.

Local stereo installation shop basically said that because Biketronics amp has NO gain control for crossover that the tweeter actually got too hot and melted until it shorted out.

that was his main complaint with the Biketronics system. I am giving this one last try.

If it messes up im goin to a ARC Amp and some new speakers. Sux having to lose your stereo on a roadtrip and having to put ur bike in the shop every roughly 6 months because of stereo issues.

wow ,,,,,

might be a few skeletons around with this amp issue ,,,

you can be assured that I will personally monitor and test thoroughly any amplifier that J&M Corporation will offer or build ,,,, and it will be right ,,,,

you must be really turning up the volume or something else is wrong.
I am using the biketronic 180 watt amp with titan speakers. I have had them for a year now with no issues

I find it strange.

just my thoughts

I have used J&M products many times and have only been disappointed once.
J&M John worked with me to find a solution,
