We will be stocking the Road Glide 7.25" J&M speakers when they are released. We have them on order and will be the first to receive them. They are still about 1-2 weeks away from being delivered to us.

We will also be stocking a ton of the new J&M amps when they are released as well because we know there are a lot of forum members here that will want them and we will be offering a very attractive forum member price on them too! We have heard that they will be released in the first quarter of 2010 which is really around the corner.

The price should be the same $235.00 shipped as long as the price to us from J&M is the exact same as the standard Harley touring speakers.

Man! Finally! Someone gets it!

Ear plugs make riding so much better! I can hear cars around me better, the stereo better, and I'm not cringing from the wind noise. And, a Thunderheader doesn't bother me ha ha!
 
Really depends on the quality of ear protection...the better the quality of plugs, the better they drop overall sound pressure without attenuating specific frequencies. To compensate, you must adjust EQ....


Too bad the head unit doesn't have more control than a simple bass/treble adjustment....
 
Many probably don't realize the majority of fatigue they experience from a long ride comes from wind noise and not the bike itself....
 
Any specific ear plugs fall into the "better quality" category? I've tired the foam-type, but I'm sure there's got to be something better.....WAY better.
 
Ear plugs designed for musicians are typically better...but as everything else in life, quality does come at a higher price.
