I don't post that often, but I installed a set of J&M 7.25's last night and I echo the other posts. Great product, easy install.

When I was not chosen for the demos I bought a set of Infiniti 5.25 kappas. They had some good reviews and I know Infiniti makes quality products. But they just didn't cut it in the wind. Plenty of treble but no depth.

So, when DR V announced the special including shipping. I jumped. (Great service from DR V too).

Went for a ride tonight and I'm very pleased. Much more depth. I think it is the size and the mid range. I don't think I will need an amp. The CD is much better than the radio, but I think that is the cheap hidden "wire" that I've got. I should have listened to DR V and ordered the J&M internal too. But I'm a slow learner.
 
Glad you are happy with the J&M speakers. That is what we are running in our personal touring bikes and we can't say enough about the sound quality. They are simply awesome!

You can always get the hidden antenna and install it. We have them in stock and can ship them out the same day.

Installed my new j&ms about a week ago. Love them. Much better than stock. But I want MORE! What amp do you recommend anyone? drvtwin? Do you have any amps that you recommend?
 
We recommend the Biketronics BT454 amp. We carry that and have supplied that to a few J&M 7.25" speaker purchasers. We are waiting on test results from Biketronics on their BT480 amp combined with the J&M 7.25" speakers. The BT480 amp from Biketronics may be just too much power for the J&M speakers to handle.

I listened to the 7.25 today at street vibs. in reno they had the stock HD speakers and the J&M 7.25 set up on a board. and they switched back and forth from the HD speakers to the J&M 7.25. there was a difference the 7.25 was a different sound altogather like they had more mid range maybe a little to much mid range. they were louder than the stock HD speakers but Im going to keep looking. I think I might be able to find a good sounding 6.5 speaker. also the magnets on these speakers are very small not sure why that is

We may have been too busy yesterday when you came by the J&M display to give you a proper comparison here in Reno ,,,,,,

if you get a chance today, come by the J&M trailer again at Reno HD and let's crank the speakers up to the normal volumes you would use on the highway, as the difference between stock Harley and the new J&M 7 1/4" IS really night and day ,,,,,

did you get a chance to hear them on my 2010 Ultra limited sitting right next to the display board ? ,,,,,,
