It's not the Bible, God, or Jesus.. It's the preachers. Everyone twists 'Gods word' into what they want it to mean.. Everyone uses God to back up their own personal issues/words. Over time, God's intentions have been made false and molded like clay.

EDIT: JR, that's stupid. Jesus existed, he was a historical leader.. What does NOT exist is any proof that he was any sort of holy super hero with special powers. Those are just stories, however the historical aspect of his existence and leadership is just as real as Alexander the Great.

Jesus was none of those things. He lived poorly and asked people to join him in serving God. And if u have read the Bible (not trying to be rude) but didn't you read a few different times that he died on the cross to save us from our sins? So, he is not militant, prejudice, and all that other stuff. Hope this helps XD Fake Name

When he was tempted by Satan, the temptation was to rule the world. Jesus withstood that temptation so there was no lust for power or money. Some could interpret that he was militant in that when he was being arrested, Peter pulled out a sword which would suggest that his disciples were armed. His prejudice of one group over another is evident when the Samaritan woman pleads with him to heal her daughter and he replies,"Should the dogs be fed before the children?". He is calling the Samaritan woman a dog. Jesus' mission was to call Israel, and Israel alone, to repentance. It was only after they had rejected the message and crucified him that the message went out to the rest of the world.

militant, bigoted, etc..? (Question)

Where in the Bible does is say that Jesus Christ was militant, prejudice for one group over another, and lust for money and power?

I know that Mohammad was Militant, sexist etc...

But what about Jesus?
