I've never exercised much before...is this a good regime?

I'm 17, around 55kg. I'm pretty petite naturally, but I want to exercise to tone up - because I'm very un-toned and quite unfit at the moment. We just got a treadmill, I was thinking of starting to do 15 minutes each day on it, as well 60 sit-ups a day. Does that sound do-able, or too little?
