Ive got a few questions

1st,I just got a plan a few weeks ago and the phone I got I cant stand and would like to get a better one.Can I buy phones off ebay and such places that have a clear ESN number and switch that phone with the one I have now?

2nd,If I get a phone that has internet,email,etc.,etc,do I have to change my plan im on now or could I just use a ''fancy'' phone as a regular talk and text like the one I have now without having to upgrade my contract??I know nothing as you can tell by reading this so some help would be appreciated.
 
If you just got the phone and contract and don't like the phone you can return the phone for a different one. if you pick a more expensive phone you will have to pay the difference.

Yes you can purchase a phone on ebay or where ever. It needs to be one that will work on verizon's network. you can activate it we no problem. If you buy a smart phone you will have to upgrade your service to include the data plan even if you are just going to use it as a phone. I have found the Palm treo's will work with the basic plan but you can only make calls, do texting and use the pda functions. You can use the internet if you purchase the wifi card and use hot spots.

I would like to find a different brand of phone to use other then the Palm. The Palm 700wx is nice but it's very large, the charging port doesn't connect very tight so it falls out easily, the bluetooth is touchy. The Palms is a great pda and a so so phone but it works and saves me money every month since I don't have to pay for the upgraded services.
