i've found a 91 jeep cherokee ?

the seller says it has no major leaks, new brakes, but no air conditioning. i'm a bit new to the cherokee so i was wanting to know things that could be common to the model with that many miles on it. transmission runs smoothly, and the 4x4 has been used sparingly.
the guy wants 850 for it. 145,000 miles. body is clean, few dents, interior is nice. looks great, havent seen the engine yet.
 
i just bought an 88 not too long ago. i knew the person that had it before me, and he played with it a lot. but he also lied and told me that he had fixed all the problems. i'm just glad i only paid 600 for it. make sure you check everything out before you buy it. i'm going to have to put 500 in it so i can get around safely. just be careful and make sure you bring a friend that knows about cars. my engine and transmission are really good. just have to fix everything else under the hood. i wish you luck.
 
the air conditioning might need to be recharged to work again, thats what was wrong with mine. there are a number of things that could be wrong with it. i would bring the car and have it checked out by a mechanic before you buy it. then they can tell you if there are any problems with the car.
