I've been shipwrecked. I found an island, but all I have is my backpack and

it's contents. What do you do? The ship that I was on was caught in a violent sea storm, and I have now been stranded on a desert island. I can only use the things that are inside my backpack. I am there for 1 month.

What do I bring? No electronics or solar panels.. and obviously no life raft, or people.


Realistic things.

obviously i'm on a computer, i was merely ask what one would have in their backpack if shipwrecked.

OK...now that I got that out of my system...how about matches, knives, metal bowl
 
A good knife for cutting things.

A book on survival ... which includes info of searching for food in a beach setting.
 
2 bottles of fresh water, toothbrush, toothpaste, pictures of family and friends, a book, a videogame that I can't play (how was I supposed to know I was going to be shipwrecked), some money, and some purell hand sanitizer.
 
You would bring perfume, bottles of water, a journal, umbrella, and a camera. Ironically sounds intriguing to me...
 
A satellite phone (like the one in Jurassic Park), rope, a saw, a knife, granola bars, a canteen, a water purifier, hopefully a change of underwear, and an ipod with a really really good battery :)
 
food books and a big rubber rain coat a bicycle pump and LOTS AND LOTS OF DUCK TAPE oh and a blank it
 
A knife, a gun, a net, waterproof matches, flashlight, flares, a bottle (of water), sturdy rope, a first aid kit, and a handheld gps.
