We are in our mid 20's and been knowing each other since 1999. I came out to him on on my birthday (08/05/10). This friend has always told me that he was straight but once I told him that I am gay he started hitting on me and after a while I finally gave in. We started being intimate with each other in late October and now it's starting to get deep. We only wanted this to be a one time thing but it was just to nice to let go. We've always used protection but now he's to that point to where he wants to go without it. He keep telling me that i've known him for so long and should know that he'll never hurt me in any way and even offered to get tested with me before we do it etc. I trust my best friend & know that he have my best interest at hand. He even offered to go get tested to prove to me that he's clean.
Would I be dumb to go without protection or should I take his word that he's clean and go for it?
