Yes you can use the sim, aslong as it's unlocked. However if you try use Internet your service provider may charge you! My girlfriend had that problem as she put her o2 contract sim in her iPhone and it wasn't set up for 3g network or the Internet. But if you call vodafone they should be able to change the tariff so that you have unlimited Internet etc. It may cost approx 10 pound a month tho..
 
Can i phone vodafone and change the tariff so i can use the iphone apps etc? Or don't they do that?

I don't think i can use any of the iphone gadgets on a normal phone tariff?
