I've been driving for some time, but I don't the following things in a car. Help!!?

I'm learning how to drive in an automatic 1993 gray Nissan Sentra and I don't know what the following looks like :
Rear Brake Lever
Front Brake Lever
Clutch
Light Switch
Dimmer Switch
Starter (Kick or Button?)
For Manuerving. What does the following mean:
Up Shifting
Down Shifting

Again, I drive a 1993 Nissan Sentra and I either don't know where they are inside the old car. Please help me identify where all of this is at. Oh, and that gearshift thing with the letters P,R,N,D,2,1 is below the cubby space thing.
