I'm really high functioning and I don't think it will effect me in preforming my duties. The only problem is that I take respridol for it. As a kid I was diagnosed ADHD and took retalin, and my old psychiatrist diagnosed me with bi polar and gave me lamictal. I also took zoloft for depression. My newest diagnoses is asberger's syndrome. I feet guilty for going to a psychiatrist. I'm starting to be anti psychology and psychiatry. I really want to serve my country.

I don't know what kind of quack doctors you are going to. The clarity, cohesiveness and emotional thought of your question indicates that you have higher functions than a lot of people. I would seriously doubt a diagnosis of asberger's.

don't quote me on this, but I think that if you are dependant on any medication to function daily, you can't join the military. I knew someone who took retalin for his ADHD, he had to be off the medicine for like 2 months before he went to basic training, and when they found out that he had been taking his medicine up until he left, they sent him home with a medical discharge. Just consider this, if you were deployed, and you got into a situation where you were away from your base for a long period of time, you would be a liability if you had to have your medicine but didnt have access to it.
If you can get by without your respridol then I don't see why they'd discriminate because of your asberger's syndrome.

Just go talk to your local recruiter if you want to know for sure.
