I just purchased an iPhone 3g 8gb off of craigslist. the previous owner i bought it from did not restore the phone. So I figured id plug into itunes to make it my own. I restored it and updated it to the newest software. But previously the phone was unlocked with tmobile and now the restore locked it. So now its stuck on the itunes screen, and itunes wont let me do anything because it says i need to insert a sim, and when i do it says sim not supported since its locked. So how can i get it off the itunes screen, and be able to unlock it? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thxs in advance 
i actually just found a cingular sim card from when i was with att and it let me activate it. now any unlocking tips?
