I've not seen the new Star Trek film yet, but plan to get it on DVD soon.
I loved the original series which was so ahead of it's time in terms of story writing. There is something in each of these original 79 episodes for everyone. I used to love those scenes when McCoy would give Spock a hard time for his logical decisions and the ways Kirk would get the Enterprise out of a tight spot which happened quite a lot. Awsome series
