It's really annoying that i can't use SLI in vista

If you have a highly specialized gaming rig with components that are known to not have great driver support under Vista.... why did you install it?
 
nVidia has had more than ample time to make good drivers, they just didn't see the need to because it'll be a while before a lot of people are on Vista.

Same whining Symantec and McAffee did about Vista when all the smaller Anti-virus already made themselves Vista compatible.
 
What you're talking about is Vista 64bit.
The problem is that microsoft in an effort to tighten up it's security, added a new feature called Patchguard.
What it does, is block access to the kernel that Symantec and McAffee depend on.
That was not a problem on the 32bit version that desktop users will be using.
