It's pathetic that people are knocking the iPhone...

What? Your threads make no sense what so ever. I asked if you ever used it since you told me if I ever have. So in turn I asked if you ever used it since you seem to know alot about it. Your telling me to learn to read yet you can't type worth shit.

For the ones you say "False" and "BS Again". At least his opinions have facts behind them. He actually USED the phone.

It would be like saying how great a Ferrari is when you have never actually driven one. Then some guy actually does drive it and states what he finds wrong with it and suddenly he becomes unreliable and full of BS because he said some bad things about a Ferrari.

For the Opinion based stuff, it is YOUR opinion (you never used the phone) vs HIS opinion (some who used it for a few weeks).

The battery thing does suck but think of it this way. How long do you really keep your phone? I change phones about once a year. I've had my current phone for a little over a year and the battery life is less than half what it was new. I'm thinking about a new phone instead of a new battery.

I'm not knocking it because it's Apple, in fact I think it will be a great product once it gets a few of the glitches taken care of. The biggest drawback is that it's only available to use with AT&T, wich has terrible service, an inferior data network, and is by far the worst for customer service, leading all other providers in the number of compaints against them with the FCC, and consumer protection organisations.

yeah it's been out but i was waiting for the iphone (one thing i don't like is it is an LG)

...only because it's by Apple.

The overpriced comments are ridiculous too. Some Blackberry, Treo, and PPCs are in the same price range as the iPhone.

I usually do the same, however for a smart phone, it's going to be a problem for business users who used to carry multiple batteries to switch on the go.

ok, the False is about 3rd party apps. Look at the announcements made during the Leopard release. this was the highlight of the day. they are allowed, just run through safari for safety and security. it doesn't mean they are run from the web though.

BS - network speed. I have a BB on edge 5 inches from me and those times are completel BS. actual edge speeds have been posted in various iphone threads.

I love the MMS one too, I'd rather send a email for free with a photo than spend the money to send a MMS. not that it wouldn't be nice to have the option, but I've never wasted my money doing it with phones that have the capability :rof:

no I haven't used it. nor have you. you're trashing it, I'm defending it. I'm not telling anyone to buy it or even that I will. you're a bandwagon fag because you're trying to be e-cool and its pretty

Go out and ask your average user why they buy something. Price and Name is all I hear.

Yes Apple does know the market and they are consider to be Hip and Cool, so when they release a NEW product, everyone must have it regardless of all of its functions. HELL my friends were asking me what the IPhone did, all they knew was you can touch the screen to do things.
