it's because they were pretty much the first gas station around here to do separate cash and credit pricing. then everyone else started doing this awful trend. may they forever suck cocks in hell.
Let me guess, it costs more to use credit? I'm betting that it has nothing to do with BP but more that the gas stations have to pay a fee every time they do a card transaction and since they barely make any money as it is off the gas, they're trying to squeeze in a few more dollars. I'm not saying it's right though
yeah. posted price (cash) is the same as the racetrac right down the street, but racetrac lets you pay the same price with a card, so they always get my business.
