I really hate the "Whatever happened to Pong" comment at the end of part I, that echoes the dumb bitch from the Fox News video from Mass Effect last year. The same thing that happened to I Love Lucy, Get Smart, The A-Team, and countless other TV shows and movies, shit evolved and got more realistic and shit.
 
I've played violent games and watched violent movies (unedited European TV FTW) since I was like 5-6. I donno, I'm definetley a bit fucked in the head in some areas but I don't feel any of those video games or movies had that much to do with it. I would never kill anyone for fun, thats for sure. I didn't do that stuff 10 hours a day though like kids do today, I still spent a good deal of my time outside interacting with people.

I definetley think kids under 18 should not be allowed to buy this game and parents are stupid for allowing age 15 or less kids buy it. Parents should not allow kids to play video games for more than an hour or so a day. Kids need to socialize not sit in a dark room pretending to shoot things.
 
why is it ok for shit like Saw and hostle to show realistic graphic violence mudering in a more sick and twisted way then any GTA game and the sex in GTA is no more then you get in a R rated film. there isnt even any nudity and even if there was nudity is it really? its not real?

got i hate this shit, i was ripping peoples spines out in mortal kombat when i was like 8 and ive played every violent game since and guess what? ive never shot up a school matter of fact im not even a violent person, ive only been in 3 fights my whole life and none of them were anything to do with videogames......
 
Did you have social contacts when you were a kid though? I think the problem is that kids nowadays spent countless hours and weeks alone in a room playing these games with no real social contact. Thats what fucks em up, cause it becomes reality for them. Pretty much everything is fine, as long as its in moderation.
 
that still doesnt mean the games are the problem, thats like saying get rid of beer and there will be no more DUI's, if you use that theroy this country will have nothing becasue you can find a reason for everything that its bad.

I don't get why people still dwell on the fact that you can have sex with a prostitute and beat them afterwards to get your money back. It was pretty shocking/funny in GTAIII and everyone has to do it at least once, but these fucks make it sound like that's the sole purpose of the game (to kill prostitutes.) And to be quite frank that's probably one of the least offensive things you can do in this game.
 
I'm not gonna dignify those videos by watching them, but that argument doesn't acknowledge the fact that killing, or even just having sex with, hookers is not in anyway vital to the game.

They also dwell on the few minority of kids that play this game and don't acknowledge that most gamers are adults these days.
