Friends can be a pain in the ass for the most part. Sometimes that's what makes a friendship stronger. But If your friends fuck you over, I wouldn't consider them true friends. Stop hanging out with the ones that do fuck you over and try to meet new ppl.
I can't give any good advice on this one because I am the same way. But I am also older and have kids of my own now. Playing Santa just isn't as fun. The holidays just aren't the same to me anymore, but I have to do it, for our kids sake.
This is truly sad. If asking them to stop doesn't help, then I don't know what to tell ya. Your parents have some issues.
I hope I never annoy my kids like that. I know I do sometimes, but when they tell me to stop, I tell them I'm sorry and stop. For me though, I am joking around with them. I'm not trying to annoy them. Sometimes us parents just don't know how far we can push our kids I guess.
Maybe you are trying to hard? I don't know. What I can tell you is when I really wanted someone to be with, I felt more alone then ever. It was frustrating.
I finally just say the hell with it and didn't worry about it. I still went out and had a good time with friends, but that was all that I was worried about. Not a female, just me having fun. Well, I met DG during that time, when I wasn't even looking. And let me tell you, she is a awesome woman.
They say that more opportunities come when you're not looking. They did for me.

The only advice i can give is to just take it day by day, stop looking ahead and worrying about the future. Find a reason to be happy for just one day, and repeat it every day. I know its hard, im going through a similar situation. You just have to find some joy in something, even if its a little thing. Thats how I deal with things.

Smoke, look. A girl friend is not going to justify who you are, she will not make you a better person. Man, you have3 a whole life in front of you, don't stress about not having a girl right now. And yes, parents do suck sometimes, I remember how much my parents used to piss me off, but now that i am a parent, I can say that we do it because we love our kids. really, we want to talk to kids and hang out with them. Sometimes it is hard for us to get into our kids world, and when we try, you guys just think we are butting in, but really, we just dont know how to be part of your life.

Ok....The parents thing is fucked up but what can you do but move out.
The girlfriend thing....women/girls are very odd creatures...the more you show your attraction, the less they want to have to do with you...take me for example, I recently had a part time job to pay for christmas presents, I had the nastiest job in the restaurant...you guessed it...the dish washer! I just came in did my thing, joked around with the guys and was polite to the waitresses (all incredibly hot by the way). I go take a break for a couple minutes in my car out back....gorgeous girl comes out to smoke (
) and it just sorta happened...little small talk, ask if she wants to do something later....bam. But the thing is, I was soaked iin disgusting dishwater and my hands were all pruned up....that didnt matter because of my confidence, because the truth is i didnt really give a shit if she came over or not.....i'm not going to call her...and i quit the job last night, so i prolly wont see her again. If your looking and acting like a depressed loser...they dont want to have anything to do with you...take some community college courses, get a part time job, hit some local band shows...do anything but wallow in your own pity. As soon as you get your own life going...and you have shit to attend to , its not going to be any problem meeting girls. Just remember that getting all flustered and stuttering is like the hand of death. So many guys want to be Mr. Cool and throw out little quips and jokes...your either going to sound fake, or stupid.
