Apologies to everyone but I forgot to do this yesterday.

For the next six days now, it is funk metal week here at rab!

Fairly self explanatory this week, funk metal is a term used to describe artists or musicians who corabine elements of funk-rock with heavy metal.

Noteable artists therefore include Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fishbone, Rage Against the Machine, Primus, Clutch and Incubus. However i'm sure rab can help expand on this with their submissions!

Yes, my favourite FNM song!

I love most of those banRAB, especially FNM, RHCP, Rage, and Incubus. So I guess this means I like funk metal, even though I'd never really thought about it as a genre. Outside of these banRAB though I don't think I really know much else, so I'll be looking forward to seeing what other artists people bring up :)
 
it's weird i would have never ever considered Clutch to be 'funky' until now....i love their self titled album and pretty much every song on it is funky as all hell...so a couple of favorites :)

to be honest when that album first came out i hated it...it was such a major step away from Transitional Speedway League...but after a little bit of time i came to realize that they are way to talented to be playing hard/metal/rock type stuff....still to date this is my favorite album by them
