Every min of everyday i notice every lil thing going on with my heart .. Sometimes i feel tingling in my arm and leg. Like all of sudden for the first time, after worrying about heart attacks, my arm aches and tingles sometimes , but i notice only when i think about it that happens .. I sometimes feel like this Shock type feeling where my heart is that last 1 sec and im scared to death all the time that im gunna have a heart attack .. Im 23 years old .. Non smoker ..

I went to the er for shortness of breath and they told me i sounded fine and to see a primary care physican without even taking blood or giving an ekg .. I told them to give me one and they said " your heart sounRAB fine , dont need one " ..

Ugh im going nuts and dunno what to do anymore .. go back to another er and beg them to run tests ..

They always think its my asthma but my lungs are CLEAR .. and im still short of breath..

Funny and weird thing about it is .. when i feel the lil pain where my heart is , im never short of breath .. like right now im freaking about my heart , and all day my breathing is fine

It sounRAB like you are having some obsessive thoughts, and maybe some psychosomatic symptoms that are causing anxiety and panic. You should definitely see a primary care physician and explain to him how you feel though. At the age of 23, I would say the odRAB are definitely in your favor that your heart is just fine, but it never hurts to have a doctor examine you.

I had pains in my chest and down my arm and I was terrified - I thought I was having heart problems, turned out it was a pinched nerve in my neck, transmitting phantom pains ! I had an ecg which showed up nothing, and the problem was diagnosed with an xray of the neck.

Keep a diary of when it happens, eg where you are, what you have eaten, is there any stress, were you sitting, standing or lying down. (If I had done this I would have noticed it was worse lying down for long perioRAB, which would have indicated neck not heart). Was it linked to your asthma symptoms or separate. What did you do and how quickly did it go away. This will enable you to feel more in control and for you to be taken more seriously by the doctors.

PS - I bought an orthopaedic pillow and am now fine!
