I was attending the International Indigenous Leadership Gathering in British Columbia, Canada in early May. I wrote this while sitting under a White Pinetree on a beautiful sun filled day.
Protecting the Sacred.
People in the Circle they gather all around
The bloodlines are all varied
But we stand as One upon the ground
The message is of strength and of Creator above,
To stand together upon Mother, hearts filled with Love
The time of change is upon us, of this we do know
Let Peace, Love and Balance be the seeds that we sow
For when that time comes, we will be here
The words that they left us dispells all fear
So stand tall and be counted for They hear our song
Be Strong and have Faith, We're where we belong.
