A film by Gurinder Chada who made Bend It Like Beckham, Bride and Prejudice to name a few is out now in the cinemas.

Has anyone seen this movie? Whats it like? Im thinking of going and seeing it sometime next week but if its not good then i'll think i'll wait for the dvd.

Any opinions?:)
 
I've not seen it but have seen enough of it to have concerns about it.

I was at a film which was an 15 certificate and a trailer came on for this film. I wasn't laughing out loud but thought this had potential and would give it a try.

Last week I was seeing another film which was an 12a and say a different trailer for this film. A person sitting a few seats for me summed it up with "that looks shit."
Obviously being a lower certifcated trailer it had different scenes but it also showed that it could be a bit of a poor film. If they can't make a second trailer that makes the film look worth watching there is a problem there.

The most interesting thing about the secoind trailer was it made absolutely no sense in comparrison to the first one. It made it look like a different film. The first one they talk about peple dying etc. In the second it's not mentioned and it just looks like a girl fancies a hot guy and that's it. Not even a good rom-com.

Seeing that second trailer has put me off seeing the fiilm. The fact that already there are no daytime screenings at my local Cineworld is definately putting me off seeing it.
 
My brother said it was good but thats only because he acted in it ;) he was also in V for Vendetta and that was **** ,so his opinion is rubbish :)
