I'm a virgin, but I don't know if my hymen is broken or not. I can only fit like 3 fingers in there and when I try to fit more it won't work.It doesn't hurt or anything though. When I look down there I don't see anything that would look like a hymen. The reason I am saying this is because my boyfriend and I are probably going to have sex soon and I don't want him to have to break it since it might hurt and I don't want that to ruin it. Would any of you know if it broken or not.........
 
If you've been fingering yourself chances are that it has broken. Although the three finger thing could just be that you are too tight because you are a virgin.
 
The hymen is a fold of mucous membrane which surrounds or partially covers the external vaginal opening. If you are putting your fingers in there you have probably broken it a long time ago.
