 Im really trying to lose some weight for my upcoming wedding and when I do cardio I get this problem. When I run for about 5-10 minutes, It seems maybe at the point of sweating, but im not entirely sure. I start to itch through my body, it starts on my stomach, then my legs, and then my back. It makes me want to stop and not do anymore cardio which is not going to help me lose weight then. If anybody can come up with a solution or help me on why this is possibly happening, ill greatly appreciate it! :)

Thanks for your help in advance!

I just read about this somewhere today!! And I feel horrible because I can't remember what it was...it has something to do with something cardiovascular?? But it could be totally irrelevant. Do you think the sweat contributes to the itching?? While we tend to shower AFTER excercise, maybe a nice refreshing shower beforehand would help?? Throw a bottle of water over yourself?? Best of luck!

Maybe exercise induced hives. The medical term is Cholinergic Urticaria.

A slow warm up routine before heavy exercise can help.

Well this is exactly how it goes down...I will get on a treadmill fresh without doing any previous cardio for example, do a little bit of jogging and a little bit of walking. Once I start to feel sweating on my back or around my chest, the itching starts. If I walk on the treadmill without much sweating, I dont have the itching problem. Any more comments would be deeply appreciated :)
