It was gonna happen...

Well, my Mom died this morning. When the paramedics came, she had no pulse, no breathing. They managed to rescesutate (sp?) her and get a good pulse. En route to the hospital, she lost the pulse again. She was DOA. I'm not reacting much in the way I thought I would. Actually, I'm quite numb.
When someone tells you that your Mom has passed away, it hits you like a brick to the head, followed by a boot. Being forced to watch her die was not good for my already degraded psyche. I just thought I should post this, and to tell everyone I might not be on in a little while.

Good luck battling with this and these feelings. Just be patient. That's about it. And prepare yourself, because it may hurt now, but it probably has yet to set in.

I send my comforting vibes in your direction.

I'm so sorry, Kokorami. That's terrible :( The numbness is normal. It will go away when you're able to handle the emotions involved. Take your time. My good thoughts go with you.

:hug2:

Stay strong. Do what you need to do. Try to set goals and do well in life; its the best you can do for yourself. I am sure anyones mom would want the best for their children. Just do good for yourself.

I am sorry; no one deserves that to happen. I send you my deepest condolences.

I know it sounds cheesy but she is in a better place, she is out of pain. Just know that in some way she is still with you and wanting you to go on. Im sorry for your pain and there isnt anything that anyone can say or do to help you other than to just be here as a friend. I don't know you except through an internet site but if you need someone to just chat with please don't hesitate.........My thoughts and support are with you ....... ~peace~ :)

Kokorami I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. Losing a parent is one of the most dificult things to deal with. Know that you're in our prayers. Hang tough man you'll get through it, lean on us on the board if you need to just don't keep it inside.

Peace man.

Losing a loved one is never easy, whether it comes unexpectedly or over time, through illness. Gentle thoughts to you and yours.

I'm terribly sorry to hear that Kokorami...if there was anything I could do to help I would. Take care of yourself, remember that tomorrow is always another day, and that eventually life will get better :hug2:
