Teenage girl's always drive brandnew vw beetle's,hummer's or sport's cars that 'daddy' bought them and they are always convertable.
Rocker's,musician's no matter how good they are , are always washed up alcholic's
If a hero gets hit by a car going a 50mph he flips off the bonnet and get's up as if nothing's happened (usually firing his gun at the escaping vehicle)
Dog's always bark at intruder's (My dog wouldn't even get up,once he's asleep,he's asleep)
When a hero falls a long distance he will always be able to miracoulesly grab a window ledge or a rope without breaking his arms. And anyone near him (child,women,oldman)will always be able to pull him up with ease even if he's a 7ft, 23stone monster of a man.

In horror movies all teenagers are murdered for having sex.
There's an odd variation where the sidekick is dangling from the edge of a cliff/building and the hero is reaching out to save him. We get a shot of the dangling man, his outstetched hand being feet away from the hero's outstreched hand. The hero leans as far as he can and just gets within a foot of the doomed sidekick's hand. Then the sidekick slips, his hand opens and he falls and falls and then, and only then, does the hero somehow lunge down with a telescopic arm, and grab the sidekick's wrist.
