I am quite happy that movies like this are showing up in HD. It's been a long time since I saw this movie in a decent format. Can't wait until it gets to TMN HD. ;)

There can be a number of reasons why one format looks better than another on a particular setup. But let's face it, DVDs were never designed to be viewed on a screen that large. HD is a better match. I find that DVDs look just as good as HD on my 32" HDTV.

Perhaps you know something the others dont?

There is another thread discussing NEW receivers and it's been shown that 1 unit has 30 hours (+5) while another could be 55 hours.

I guess until it appears, we'll have to wait and see.

Bev seems to be playing her cards very close these days.

My fellow BEV dominions, have you guys tried using HDMI lately on your TVs? One cable solution does it all, man! HDMI carries both audio & video simultaneously. Maybe you haven't maximize your tv's potential to the extreme yet?? :D:o

Except that EV's 9200 HDMI doesn't (do it all.) Try looking for threads about 9200 HDMI that doesn't work. There are a few. IIRC, the 9200 doesn't deliver DD5.1 either, though that might have been fixed for some with r150. There are also a few issues with HTPC HDMI and various other incompatible types of equipment. If it works for you, great.
