How about if terrorists have been randomly setting off explosives in busses and stores in Sydney for the past 2 decades?
 
But what's the outcome? Wars today have no outcome other than more war.
No purpose other than to create more enemies and ensure future conflicts.

Nobody is saying this is OK because worse has happened.

People are saying that worse is what you get when civilians are actually targeted. Israel isn't targeting civilians. We know this because if they were, you'd need to add a couple zeros on to the 300 that have died.
 
The United Nations and all its agencies and funds spend about $20 billion each year, or about $3 for each of the world's inhabitants. This is a very small sum compared to most government budgets and it is just a tiny fraction of the world's military spending.
 
i do get it. my grandmother lost her would-be husband in the war, her family lost alot of people in WWII. And she used to tell me stories about how much he meant to her. And even though he was killed she still harbours no ill will towards the people who did it. Maybe because as you lot think she is a pussy, but i think she is a strong minded person, someone who isn't an uncivilised prick with that stupid eye for an eye notion we have had for thousands of years thats caused nothing but shit.
