So killing civilians is okay in one scenario, yet not in another...which totally counters your previous views in regards to civilian causalties?
 
I know you're being sarcastic, but when lebanese people are told to leave their homes to avoid being bombed WHERE THE FUCK ARE THEY SUPPOSED TO GO? All roads out of lebanon are pretty much bombed, the airport is just about closed.

Where are they supposed to go? Israel took out most of their means to get out of the country.
 
I'm sorry. But if some crazy bastards were coming to Australia and killing Australians and the Australian government decided to take the "moral high road" and not respond....... I'd be pretty pissed.
 
man ireland tried for 800 years to get themselves freed. and even then they couldnt get the north back. but the north is full of irish people and english settlers.

israel pulled out of gaza and the west bank, but they still occupy territorries that didnt belong to them. and the only difference is israel bulldozed all the arabs out of their own homes, killed a load of em who resisted. and got threw the rest out of the country.

We're not, and Israel isn't fighting a country. . nothing can be won. .all they're going to do is go in and create more Hezbollah fighters in Lebanon and elsewhere. Those have sat on the fence will now be swayed one way or the other. . we'll kill the parents of what are now future Hezbollah soldiers. .

Well what you are saying is possible only under a single world government. A nation's government will never care equally about the citizens of another country. How can you honestly believe that this is at all possible in anything outside of a fantasy world?
 
That says you cannot attack an entire civilian populace just to flush out a combatant.
It also states that just because there are civilians in the area, doesn't mean that area is immune to attack.

Israel is acting well within the law.
 
Here is where we differ then, I personally think that if you use the same tactics as your enemy, you are just as bad as they are.
 
Jesus fucking Christ. If this was 1000AD there would be more than 300 civilian deaths in a war if the aim was to kill civilians.

Today if you wanted to kill civilians you'd be killing 300 a minute.
