ISO Grips with Helmet Locks Install Question

I know this has probably been asked before.

My wife got me the iso grips and a set of helmet lock endcaps for Christmas. Anyone have this configuration?

I think my main concern is the Handlebar end weights currently in use on the stock bars. The Helmet Locks are a lot lighter and I'm worried that this might change the handling characteristics of the bike. From what I've inferred, the weights are there to help with vibration and handling. Should the new grips compensate for that now?

Also, I'm hesitant to use the crazy glue they provided with the grips, I've heard people using Gorilla glue, which is outrageously expensive IMHO. I think the last time I put grips on my old Kawasaki gpz, I used weatherstrip adhesive and let it dry overnight.

Thoughts? Opinions?

Thanks

I don't know about the locks, but I wouldn't think they would affect handling, and any vibration will be cancelled by the ISO's. Good grips. I used Renthal grip glue to put mine on with. That instant stuff doesn't give you but a second to get them on all the way, much less position them to match each other, depending on which model grip you have of course. Let it dry overnite and they will never come loose. Clean the bar real good first. I use acetone.

Put em on last night. Definitely is going to take some getting used to. I did notice a little bit more vibration, but then that could just be me. I used super weatherstrip adhesive which is what I used to use in the past. Sanded the bar down real good and made sure there was no residue. Locks are kind of cool, too bad they're not keyed alike even though they came in a 2 pack.

If you notice a vib in the bars you could run a "bar snake" from the throttle side. Back in the day some Harley rider would use this to reduce the Vib in the handle bars.
