most white people will say "oh, i dont see the colour of one's skin" but they can tell you how many black friends they have.
 
They meant they don't JUDGE by the color of skin. When you ask how many black friends you are asking how many friends of that color. no bad judgments there. What's wierd is that you are so paranoid about it. O_o
